Driver Application Process

• AFTER THE COMPLETION OF YOUR APPLICATION, YOU WILL BE CONTACTED BY AN ADS REPRESENTATIVE FOR A PERSONAL INTERVIEW, EITHER ON THE PHONE OR IN PERSON. AT SOME POINT AN INTERVIEW WILL BE SET UP WITH THE EMPLOYER OF YOUR CHOICE.Here is what will happen after you complete this application. We work with many national well-known companies, and many smaller “not as well known”, but just as quality-oriented companies around the southeast. We will review the application and will order a DAC, and background check.

  You will be sent for a drug screen to the nearest Concentra, and the results will take another 24 hours to receive. I may elect to have your interview with the client company in the meantime, but not always. Some clients may do their own drug testing in addition to mine.

  Call to confirm your interview, and call your recruiter after the interview.

  When going to an interview, please dress appropriately. Clean-shaven, and showered, as well as a clean shirt. Nothing fancy is needed, no suit and tie, just clean attire. Many clients will supply the shirts for your job, if not, then plan to have a few “golf type” shirts ready for your job.

  Also, after the interview, if you take the job, you will need to call your recruiter ASAP to let them know the start time, etc.

  If you do not call, I will fill the job with someone else!

  You will be paid on a weekly basis. You are responsible for getting your hours to your immediate supervisor. If we do not get your time, you cannot get a paycheck. Time goes into Atlantic Logistics each Monday, and you will have a check issued, and there will be no advances on paychecks!

  Last, if you leave your assignment, please call your recruiter so that they can follow up on final pay issues. You will not be issued a final paycheck until we have received a clearance from your supervisor that you have returned all issued equipment. (i.e. cell phones, pagers, Nextel phones, fuel cards, lumper checks, etc.). Again, be sure that you call after the end of your assignment!! If you are not happy with the job you are on, notify your recruiter, we may have another position for you.

  Do not leave the assignment without letting your supervisor or Atlantic Logistic Management know that you are quitting.
